Building Relationships

Spotlight on Belfast

Watts has had an office in Belfast since 1992 and we’ve seen some wonderful projects take place over the last twenty odd years. We have taken another leap forward through a recently secured commission related to the sale of a major commercial property in Belfast city centre, a sign that the Northern Ireland market is now starting to pick up. Added to this, we are just about to start the first couple of schemes under a new framework agreement with the University of Ulster and key clients including the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and local health trusts continue to supply work.Unusually the Belfast office crosses borders and there is a fair bit of work in the south of Ireland where NAMA – the body created after the 2009 crash – is starting to find buyers for some of the assets it has been operating.
