James Tudor House
Client: Bristol Contributory Welfare Association (BCWA)
Office: Bristol
The Bristol Contributory Welfare Association (BCWA) chose to relocate their headquarters to a newly-built 2,323 sq m property on Victoria Street. The developer and a team of local consultants procured the building within agreed budgets and to an appropriate timescale. Watts' role was that of development monitor on behalf of the purchaser who was also the end-user.
Watts was appointed to advise upon, and subsequently monitor, the development of the new BCWA headquarters. The client required assistance in minimising risk, removing unknowns from the programme and contract documentation. Watts also assisted with spatial design and layout of the new offices for BCWA's own occupation.
