Expertise in heritage and conservation, combined with the ability to mobilise a team of surveyors promptly, esnured a successful outcome for this leading independent school.

Founded by King Henry VI in 1440, Eton College continues to provide a stimulating all-round education, coupled with academic excellence.
Watts was appointed to carry out Condition Surveys of approximately 170 Eton College properties. This was to help identify future maintenance works required, as well as assisting the College Estates Department to formulate suitable budgets for these works for future years.

Ten Watts members of staff carried out surveys within a short time frame over the course of two months.

The properties inspected were wide ranging, with many being located in the Eton Conservation area, and several being listed by English Heritage.
Watts’ ability to react quickly to the instruction together with the technical skills and experience in matters of building pathology, conservation and restoration, and building inspection, were all invaluable in successfully delivering over 170 building survey reports to the Estates Department of this prestigious college.
“Watts assisted in delivering building condition survey reports for approximately 170 Eton College properties, including the provision of cost information, to inform future maintenance expenditure. The service was delivered timeously and to budget.”
Paul Passey, Chief Surveyor - Buildings Department, Eton College
