Watts was appointed for an initial period of two years to undertake sampling asbestos surveys throughout Scotland. Survey work commenced in 2004 and the commission was extended until October 2007. The programme was again extended and was successfully completed in 2010. Watts had six full-time members of staff working on the commission.
Post completion of this framework, Watts have now been appointed by Scottish Water as the preferred supplier of asbetsos surveying services on a Supply and Price Agreement. This agreement is currently in place.
