The client required new premises as their property lacked the versatility required for modern commerce. Watts' brief was to provide the technical and professional acumen to select suitable accommodation, design and manage the fit-out, and facilitate the smooth transfer of staff and equipment. Watts was also responsible for M&E design and management and the coordination of the communications system contractor.
The project consisted primarily of contract administration and re-location management. By analysis of the client's space requirement and space utilisation, Watts advised on the selection of new premises to accommodate 60 people and designed and managed the fit-out works to provide modern accommodation bespoke to the client's requirements. The eighth floor of Victoria House was leased as a shell.
