Watts was appointed to complete a purchaser's survey of Varastotie 6, located 11km south of Tampere in Finland. The property is of 1970s concrete frame construction and the external envelope comprises precast concrete panels. The development is currently being used as a large distribution centre. Watts' brief was to carry out a due diligence survey and to report on the condition of the properties, and to provide a detailed assessment of the property’s general features, form of construction and state of repair. Watts was also required to prepare budget costings for the repair and maintenance works and to prepare a reinstatement cost assessment.
