Following the management of two previous successful retail store roll-out programmes for TUi, Watts was appointed to manage a further 33 store refurbishments during early 2009. The project involved a mix of refurbishments and 'refreshers' dependant on the individual store requirements, and working within an extremely tight lead-in period of five weeks. Watts was appointed to lead a team throughout the UK to deliver the program of store refurbishments. Watts was required to manage the project from inception to completion. Our role included; completing measured surveys; space planning and preparing a standardised shop fitting guide; coordinating multiple shop fitting contractors; dealing with landlord approvals and statutory consents; and overall project cost control.
