Charity bike ride in aid of King's College Hospital (KCH) helipad fund and Cystic Fibrosis

On Wednesday 1 July a group of riders will be leaving KCH in London to follow the 'Avenue Verte', a 287-mile cycle ride for charity that will take us to Paris. Our target is to raise £10,000.

Our 13-strong team is drawn from the organisations that are currently engaged in designing and constructing a new helipad and Critical Care Unit at King’s. The Helipad Fund is one of our two nominated charities for this ride, the other being the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and 100% of the money raised will go straight to these.

Our team is:
Tom Best, Critical Care Lead Consultant - King's College Hospital
Matthew Ellams, Director - Watts
Tim Messer, Associate - Watts
Andrew Morley, Senior Project Manager - Watts
Richard Mogg, Senior Building Surveyor – Watts
John Roden, Senior Construction Manager - McLaughlin Harvey

Nick Benn, Director, BMJ Architects
