Watts experts speak at RICS autumn events

Property and construction experts from Watts Group PLC are set to be among the speakers at a series of seminars hosted by the Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors (RICS) starting next month.

Watts’ Technical Director Trevor Rushton FRICS FBEng ACIArb, lead directors Robert Hillman BSc (Hons) MRICS and Allan Robertson DipBS FRICS MaPS ACIArb, and associate Tom Kibblewhite BSc (Hons) MRICS will be addressing delegates at the RICS Autumn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar series.

The series, which runs from September to December, includes information and guidance on a range of industry topics, giving members an opportunity to build up their learning hours and network with professionals in their local areas.

Trevor, Robert and Allan will be discussing building defects in residential and commercial premises in Examining defects and diagnosis at separate dates and venues across the UK. They will also present a comprehensive summary of deleterious and hazardous materials in Definitions and examples – placing materials in context.

Meanwhile, Tom will be examining the surveyor’s duties in terms of neighbourly disputes over party walls, boundaries and rights of light in Managing conflict over land, property and adjoining buildings.
