Watts proposes NPPF solution to heritage funding cuts


Watts' technical director Trevor Rushton discusses how the private sector could help close the gap caused by heritage funding cuts in the latest issue of Property Week.

Writing in the 18 November edition of the magazine, Trevor suggests the Government's National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) for the historic environment opens the door for private sector heritage professionals to help speed up the planning process, as local authorities continue to shed conservation officers.
