Our Roles

We are a multi-disciplinary organisation with a strong reputation for technical excellence and commercial acumen.  Our services have grown from a traditional background of building surveying to encompass quantity surveying, project management, environmental consultancy, health and safety and construction law services. 

This multi-disciplinary environment employs the following:

Building surveyors
Our building surveyors deliver buildings and construction-based projects that meet the clients’ requirements, within agreed programmes and cost parameters.  A key responsibility is to provide advice on property and construction to commercial companies, other consultants, government bodies and private individuals.

We employ a number of surveyors with specialist expertise in areas such as dilapidations, building defects, health and safety and historic buildings.

Quantity surveyors
Our quantity surveyors are responsible for managing all costs relating to building projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. We try to minimise costs of a project and enhance value for money for the client, whilst achieving the required standards and quality. 

Project managers
Our project managers oversee projects in the land, property and construction industries. We coordinate the entire development process to maximise efficiency, economy, communication and successful completion of each specific project.

Health and safety consultants
Our consultants protect people’s health and safety by ensuring risks in the workplace are properly controlled.  It’s our duty to ensure employers comply with all aspects of health and safety laws and that workplaces are not the cause of ill health, injury or even death.

Engineers
We examine structures to discover whether or not they are structurally sound and advise clients about the pressures that buildings will have to withstand.

CAD technicians
We assist in 3D computer-based assessment of the effects of various building development proposals on light to surrounding buildings, making inspections of properties throughout the UK to obtain various types of information, including dimensions.

Environmental consultants
We work on client contracts dealing with land contamination, environmental auditing and energy certification. Our reports detail commercial approaches to dealing with clients’ needs of managing regulations, corporate risk and reputation management. 

Administrative and operational roles
We also employ a number of administrative, corporate and operational staff to support the day to day and strategic operations of our offices.
