Watts hosts its 4th annual Clay Pigeon Shooting Showdown

01/11/2009

To celebrate the start of the pheasant-shooting season, Watts Consultancy Ltd held their fourth annual clay pigeon shooting showdown on Thursday 29 October 2009 at Courtlough Shooting Club in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.

A majority of Dublin’s’ general practice surveying and property companies attended the event, each entering a team of 4 sharp shooters.  This year, individuals were also able to place a charity bet on who they thought might be the overall team winner,  best male individual and best female individual as the Watts Dublin office ran their own charity “betting house” with the help of a local bookmaker.

This year’s winners were Douglas Newman Good who scored 142 out of 200 possible points pushing last year’s winners Savills into second place.

The highest individual score of the day belonged to Mr Robert Hoban of Savills with an impressive 42 out of 50 points. Aisling Tannam of Knight Frank was the highest scoring lady on the day with 35 out of 50.
