Arkwright House

Arkwright House is a Grade II Listed multi tenanted office building in Manchester, which dates back to the 1930’s.

Our role on this prestigious building started with providing technical due diligence services for the purchase of the building by our appointing client.

Watts were subsequently then appointed to undertake consultancy services as Employers Agent, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers and Quantity Surveyors for the major Cap Ex expenditure to create new plug and play office suites for prospective tenants, with also the option of refreshed Cat A office space.

Those services have also extended to delivering the extensive refurbishment of the reception area and core space as well as creating a new muti use wellness suite as part of a stunning transformation scheme.

Furthermore, as part of service charge activities we have undertaken detailed condition surveys of the roofs to develop the service charge plan for expenditure, and a detailed condition survey of all windows with each of the windows referenced, and any remedial repairs itemised within a window schedule.

To date we have also been instructed to undertake Landlord and Tenant services in the form of terminal dilapidations.

Working on this building has allowed Watts to evidence its strength and depth of expertise across various service lines.
