Planned Preventative Maintenance

The University of Law

The instruction covered seven campuses: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and two in London (Bloomsbury and Moorgate).

Utilising out nationwide team of experienced building surveyors, we met with stakeholders at each campus, reviewed documentation and surveyed the properties internally, externally (including grounds) in accordance with lease requirements and repairing obligations.

Separate PPM reports were prepared for each campus, as per client requirements, with the PPM reports complying with the RICS Professional Standard on PPMs.

Reports considered health and safety, fire safety, accessibility, sustainability, planning and heritage requirements, alongside the condition of the building elements.

A 10-year plan was prepared for each campus, with separate schedules for each block within the campuses. Consideration was given to the clients existing maintenance and estate strategy.
